Attorney General Lynn Fitch expressed a resolute commitment to eliminating human trafficking and emphasized the importance of supporting the recovery of victims. This operation is one of many efforts made under the “Be the Solution” initiative, which has resulted in the training of over 550 officers across Mississippi in anti-trafficking measures.

Since its inception, the Human Trafficking Task Force has conducted a total of 60 operations, leading to 178 arrests and the rescue of 375 victims. The task force has also received numerous leads aimed at disrupting trafficking operations throughout Mississippi, demonstrating a proactive approach to this critical issue.
