Friday Night Fun Awaits!
The fun will kick off on Friday, April 25, starting at 5 p.m. with live music filling the air. Before you park your car, a friendly reminder: you’ll want to clear the Square before Thursday night because vehicles left there will be towed starting at 4 a.m. on Friday. For those driving, both North Lamar Boulevard and Monroe Avenue will be closed for stage setup from the early morning hours.
If you’re planning to enjoy the music, the lineup features a great mix of performers to get your toe-tapping. Starting at 5 p.m., catch the energetic vibes of The Great Dying, followed by The Band of Heathens at 6:15 p.m. and the captivating Ole 60 at 7:30 p.m. The night cap will be delivered by headliner Charlie Crockett, who hits the stage at 9 p.m. Get ready to groove!
Saturday Delights!
After Friday’s festivities, city crews will be busy prepping the Square for a bustling Saturday. If you plan to stay late, remember that vehicles parked on the Square after 4 a.m. Saturday will also be towed. So, plan accordingly!
Parking can be quite a challenge, especially as public parking lots fill up quickly. To make life easier, the city is sharing parking information through social media and flyers, so keep an eye out!
Saturday is packed with exciting activities! The fun starts bright and early with a Spring Run featuring 10K and 5K races, plus a Kids Fun Run at 7:30 a.m. Then at 10 a.m., the festival officially opens, showcasing over 180 art vendors and 26 food booths ready to tantalize your taste buds. Families with kids can also head to the children’s Square Fair located in the Lafayette County Chancery Building parking lot, where a $20 wristband gives unlimited access to games and rides (cashless payments only, please!).
Saturday’s Melodic Lineup!
Music lovers, rejoice! Saturday’s lineup is as diverse as it is exciting, with performances beginning at 10 a.m. The Rust College A’Cappella Choir starts things off, followed by the soulful Cedric Burnside at 11:30 a.m. The energy picks up with Seratones at 1 p.m. and continues to build with Water Liars at 2:30 p.m., Cimafunk at 4 p.m., and The Record Company at 5:30 p.m. As the evening approaches, Houndmouth takes the stage at 7 p.m., followed by the spectacular Grace Potter, who headlines at 8:30 p.m.
