Family and Legacy

Born on November 8, 1937, Rubye was the daughter of J.W. and Louise Whitten Hale. She is survived by her five children: Stephanie Stevens, married to David; Forrest Foster; Kim Murphree, married to Keith; Katherine Vance, married to Brandon; and John Foster, married to Cheryl. Additionally, Rubye leaves behind a legacy of love through her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her grandchildren include Anna Rhinewalt, married to Dustin; Anthony Foster; John Stevens, married to Robin; Calvert Murphree, married to Kaylin; Tawnie Stalder, married to Richard; Jake Foster; and Michael Murphree, married to Paula. Furthermore, Rubye is survived by six great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her memory.

Rubye is also remembered by her sister, Katherine Hale Floyd. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, James W. Hale, Jr.

Throughout her life, Rubye was an active member of the Love Community Church in Hernando, where she built lasting friendships and engaged with her community through various activities.
