Ford Center in Oxford Unveils Exciting 2024-2025 Schedule
Oxford, Mississippi – The Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts has officially released its lineup for the upcoming 2024-2025 season, and it promises to be an exciting mix of performances that cater to a variety of tastes. This fall, the venue will feature the six-time Tony Award-winning musical “Dear Evan Hansen,” which is known for its touching story and emotional songs. Following that, in the spring, the Ford Center will present “Hadestown” by Anaïs Mitchell, a mesmerizing retelling of the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice.
In response to student demand for more country music performances, the Ford Center has lined up a concert by the Frontmen, who will hit the stage on September 26. This group consists of three well-known lead singers from popular country bands: Larry Stewart of Restless Heart, Richie McDonald of Lonestar, and Tim Rushlow of Little Texas.
The Ford Center also has events planned for the entire Oxford community.
