Roundabout Oxford is a new luxury RV park and water resort situated on 45 acres, offering various activities and amenities, including a water park, mini golf, and accessible features for families. The resort aims to provide a welcoming space for guests of all ages, focusing on recreation, relaxation, and community interaction.

Oxford, Mississippi – A new luxury RV park and water resort named Roundabout Oxford is set to open on Thursday, adding an exciting recreational option to the area. This expansive resort covers 45 acres and is designed to cater to guests of all ages with a wide range of activities and amenities.

Among the key attractions are a vibrant water park featuring a splash pad for children, an adults-only pool complete with a swim-up bar, and the unique 1,000-foot “Swayze River” which offers a leisurely float for visitors. For guests interested in land activities, the resort provides facilities for popular games such as cornhole, GaGa Ball, volleyball, tennis, basketball, tetherball, and pickleball.

Roundabout Oxford will also boast a custom-designed 18-hole mini golf course along with an old-school arcade room, making it an ideal family destination. For convenience, rentals of electric bikes and golf carts will be available to help guests traverse the expansive grounds.

The resort’s commitment to accessibility and inclusivity is further highlighted by its walking trails and a sensory path specifically tailored for children on the autism spectrum. To promote relaxation and foster a sense of community, there will be dedicated spaces such as a yoga deck and group bonfire areas.

The vision behind Roundabout Oxford comes from its founders, Drs. Alison and Andrew Ross, along with Cris and Jay Hughes. Their goal was to create a family-oriented oasis that provides a welcoming environment for guests and encourages social interaction.

Located just three miles west of Oxford along Highway 6, Roundabout Oxford will offer 150 RV sites and 20 luxury cottages for accommodation. Access to local culinary delights will also be featured, including the famous chicken on a stick and drinks served in distinctive miniature red telephone booths—an iconic symbol of the area.

Visitors looking to experience the resort can purchase a “Park and Play” pass for day access, though availability will depend on the resort’s occupancy at the time. For an introductory peek at the new facilities, an open house event is scheduled for May 4 from noon until 5 p.m., providing potential visitors with the opportunity to explore what the resort has to offer.

Nightly rentals for both RVs and cottages will be available, emphasizing the resort’s family safety with designated areas for children to ride bicycles and gather around bonfires. To ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, reservations are required, and only individuals who own an RV or rent a cottage will be granted access to the park.

It is important to note that while Roundabout Oxford features water attractions, it does not classify itself as a traditional water park akin to Geyser Falls located in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Instead, the resort aims to be recognized for its unique blend of water fun and recreational activities.

Roundabout Oxford RV & Water Resort is conveniently located at 750 U.S. 278 West in Oxford, Mississippi, marking the area’s latest addition to its collection of family-friendly entertainment options.
