OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss will play Georgia under the lights in Oxford. The SEC said Monday that the Nov. 7 game at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Central, 7:30 p.m. Eastern, and will air on ABC.

The school is asking fans to wear red for the matchup, one of the biggest home dates left on the Rebels’ schedule.

Both teams arrive with a lot riding on the result. Georgia is 6-1 and ranked third in the country, while Ole Miss is 5-2 and ranked 12th. The Rebels likely need to win out to feel safe about a College Football Playoff spot, and the Bulldogs have little margin after an upset loss to Auburn before their bye week.

Ole Miss is coming off a 34-27 loss at No. 18 Texas in Austin on Oct. 24. Its other loss this season came at Florida in September. The Rebels have beaten LSU and Missouri at home, and they won at Vanderbilt and against Louisville in Nashville.

Oxford has been a hard place for Georgia under coach Kirby Smart. The Bulldogs are 0-2 there in his tenure, and both of those defeats came by more than one score, most recently in 2024.

The teams met twice last season. Georgia won the regular-season game in a high-scoring contest, and Ole Miss rallied from nine points down to beat the Bulldogs in the Sugar Bowl and move on to the playoff semifinals.

Before Georgia comes to town, Ole Miss hosts Auburn on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 11:45 a.m., followed after the Georgia game by a trip to Oklahoma on Nov. 14.

The regular season wraps up with two more home dates in Oxford: Wofford on Nov. 21 and the Egg Bowl against Mississippi State on Friday, Nov. 27, both set for 11 a.m. starts.
